Singer Akon Comes To TollyWood By A Business

Tollywood producers and directors are thinking out of the box and are experimenting with international talent in their films. This is great news for music buffs. The International hip hop and R&B (rhythm and blues) singer and rapper, Akon, will belt out a racy number in the forthcoming Telugu film Businessman starring Mahesh Babu and helmed by Puri Jagannath.

After busting US Billboard charts with his racy tracks in a few popular albums such as Trouble, Konvicted and Freedom, Akon is now exploring a new genre in a completely new music zone. His number Chamak Challo in Ra.One is already creating waves in the industry. “We thought of signing on Akon even before Ra.One. Since the director and star, wanted to create a buzz in the music industry, we zeroed in on this top rapper,” says composer Thaman, who is riding on the success of Dukudu, and has already composed a few tracks for the international pop star.

“Two tracks have come out really well and he could be asked to sing one of them. I am eagerly looking forward to working with such a stalwart” he adds. It looks like T-town dream merchants are thinking ‘out of the box’ to revive their winning streak.
